General Cardtorial Questions
Q: Can I mail my Cardtorial cards?
A: Absolutely! Shipping via the United States Postal Service (USPS) is $2.67. For added protection, we will include a piece of chipboard with your card to use in the case you'd like to mail your card.
Q: How do I write on the cards?
A: We recommend using a fine-tip sharpie. Any permanent marker will do, but the fine tip keeps it cute! Due to the finish on the wood, pens and pencils don't set well.
Q: Can I customize the cards?
A: You can get a custom engraved message on the back of your card. Each item, if customizable, will have an option box on the item page. Once that box is checked, you can write your custom message there for us to print. Please be aware of character limits!
Q: Can I send my card / order directly to the recipient?
A: Of course! If you're buying a gift and you'd like to send it directly to the recipient, please go ahead and let us know in the notes section when you check out so we can package it appropriately.
Q: Can you help me write a message on the card?
A: Sure! If you'd like a custom engraved message, you'll need to be sure to purchase that option. If you'd like a hand-written note, just let us know in the notes section when you check out and we will hand write at no cost.

Q: Where are your products made?
A: Our products are made in-house (in Southern California) and made out of certified sustainable wood.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Sunny Southern California. While the business was hatched in San Francisco, we recently moved. The Bay Area will always be near and dear to our hearts.

A: We periodically need the help of interns. Please email us if you'd like to work with us on a project!
Shipping & Order Questions
Q: How long does it take for my order to ship?
A: We aim to ship all orders within 1-3 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive a tracking number (via email). All orders will ship from our California studio.
Domestic orders take 3-5 business days to arrive. We cannot take responsibility for USPS delays. If you need a premier service, you can upgrade your shipping method to Priority Mail and the transit time will be 2 business days or less (in most cases).
International orders can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks to arrive not including time in customs so please plan ahead! Please note, tracking abilities to international destinations vary depending on country. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee international ship times.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yep! Shipping rates are calculated upon checkout. Do keep in mind that purchases do not cover customs/duties charges, so please be aware that the buyer is responsible for any charges that may incur in their country.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We're sorry to hear you want to return a Cardtorial product! We'll help you process that return as soon as possible. Unused orders may be returned with 15 days of delivery for a refund. Unfortunately, used or custom-engraved items may not be returned.
If your order qualifies, we’ll issue a refund to your original method of payment as soon as we receive the returned item(s). Feel free to reach out to us with your return request at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll help you get that processed if it qualifies.
